![]() PAYDAY candy bars were first manufactured in 1932 by Frank “Marty” Martoccio, a macaroni and candy manufacturer from Minnesota. ![]() The key ingredients of PAYDAY candy bars are salted peanuts covering a nougat-like sweet caramel center. Their marketing department advertised it as a candy bar so big it could be shared with two friends. One was strawberry, one was chocolate and one was vanilla. It came in a box and had three mini candy bars in it. Mars, Incorporated introduced 3 Musketeers in 1932. What were the original 3 flavors of 3 Musketeers? Nougat originated in Mediterranean countries, where honey, together with almonds or other nuts, was beaten into egg whites and then sun-dried. Nougat, aerated confection made by mixing nuts and sometimes fruit pieces in a sugar paste, the composition of which is varied to give either a chewy or brittle consistency. On top of the biscuit is a generous layer of caramel. Twix Layers – The center of a Twix is a biscuit or cookie made of shortbread or ingredients similar to shortbread. The outer layer is milk chocolate that covers the nougat, caramel, and peanut interior. The caramel mixture is layered on top of the nougat then machines cut the mixture into long, thin bars. Then, freshly roasted peanuts are covered in caramel. Is there nougat in Snickers?įor Snickers, that basic recipe is a nougat base made with egg whites, sugar and vanilla (a mixture Mars called “frap”). Do 3 Musketeers have nuts?Ī 3 Musketeers Bar does not have nuts. Back when Mars introduced the 3 Musketeers bar, it came in a small box containing three different small candy bars: One chocolate, one vanilla and one strawberry. Why is it called “3 Musketeers?” The answer: Because it used to include three pieces. “Fluffy nougat” is the featured ingredient in the 3 Musketeers bar. Varieties of nougat are found in Milky Way, Reese’s Fast Break, Snickers, Double Decker, ZERO bars, and Baby Ruth bars. Nougat is made of egg whites that are whipped until light and frothy, with sugared syrup added to it to control the foam, creating what is called a frappé. The 3 Musketeers candy bar is made of two important things: chocolate and nougat. The long, milk-chocolate covered candy bar looks the same on the outside, but inside, features vanilla-flavored nougat dotted with celebratory colorful sprinkles. The iconic 3 Musketeers chocolate bar is introducing its first new variety in six years: birthday-cake flavor. ![]() It makes them easily sit in a mix and compliment each other even when the synths are supposed to be from different eras. There's a subtle pre-canned, plastic sheen to them. Honestly, that's what I like about Arturia. The browser is tagged great and has like 6000 presets.Īs far as sound goes, I get that some may say the Arturia stuff doesn't sound as authentic as other emulations or perhaps there's a sameness to most of the synths. I can usually find exactly what I'm looking for. I have Komplete which covers a lot of ground, but use Analog Lab for retro synth sounds. You can't build patches from scratch but you still have access to the filter, ADSR, and LFO on most of the presets and can save them as new ones. It's the preset only version of the Arturia Collection. I'd also consider Arturia's Analog Lab.especially if you can find it cheap (less than $100). Bundles like Arturia Collection and Komplete are great tools to focus on the music and get stuff DONE. It's absolutely a steal when compared to V Collection not on sale. This collection does cost $60 more than V Collection on sale, but I think for the three heavy hitters it's worth it. OB-Xd can be a little temperamental at times. PG-8X is kinda nice to have around, but it's probably the weakest of this bunch. Synth1 is probably the best "utility" synth you can get for free. Dexed isn't exact on a DX7 but if you set it to "modern" mode it can make really nice clean FM sounds. ![]() TAL U-NO-LX is buttery as fuck even if it's not exactly on a Juno 60. Pretty much this gets you emulations of the Prophet 5/Pro-One, Minimoog, and Juno 60 as well as the Yamaha DX7, Clavia Nord Lead 2, Roland JX-8P and Oberheim OB-Xa. There is an "alternate" set up paid and freeware plugins that I strongly recommend. I should mention I also own Komplete 11, which helped tip me towards selling V Collection. I just felt there weren't any particularly impressive plugins within V Collection to justify keeping it. I had V Collection 5, but I wound up giving away my license to a friend when I bought my Prophet REV2. V Collection is a nice all-in-one synth package. The first pieces, from 1935 to about 1938, were made by the Dowst Manufacturing Company, makers of "Tootsietoys." While the Blutsauger lowers the default health regeneration of the Medic, it gives you life upon every hit. The Blutsauger is a great choice, if you want to improve your survival as a Medic, and can be of great use to any player who’s looking to counter high-damage classes on the enemy team, like the Demoman or the Soldier. Quick-fix can be a great tool to charge at your enemy’s back rows, particularly, since the Quick-fix will allow you to rocket jump together with friendly soldiers and demomans. While the Quick-fix doesn’t provide complete damage immunity like the original medi-gun, its uber charge greatly increases the overhead, healing as well as movement speed. While the vanilla secondary weapon is probably the most versatile one, Quick-fix can be a great alternative, particularly, when there’s more than a single medic on the team. There are a couple of different medi-guns currently available for medics to choose from, each with different boosts and abilities. Medi-gun allows the Medic to use his signature class abilities. The secondary weapon is arguably the most important in Medic’s arsenal. If you’re looking for a melee weapon to add to your Medic weapons collection, the Ubersaw is an absolute must-have! This trade-off, however, is well worth it, since the vanilla medic saw is not known for its awesome firepower. A melee weapon that looks like it contains parts of the medic medi-gun, the Ubersaw chargers 25% of your Uber bar on every hit, while at the same time having 20% slower attack rate. The Ubersaw was one of the first items added for the Medic in Team Fortress 2 as a part of the 2008 update, however, it remains one of the most popular melee weapons for the medic to date. The damage and healing effect both depend on the distance traveled when firing a bolt, so the gun actually encourages you to fight at long range, which makes it far more useful than the weak vanilla primary weapon for the Medic. Medic has low heal pool and generally can be killed in a matter of seconds, but the Crusader’s Crossbow allows you to safely take shots at a longer range. ![]() The weapon allows you to both heal allies at a distance, as well as damage enemies from a safe position. It is important to understand the quality of the sealing materials your manufacturer selects. Separate, environmentally sealed clamp sets are available for all common Fischer Connectors plugs. Cable material and quality strongly affect the reliability of this seal careful selection is essential to properly match the diameter of the seal to the diameter of the cable. This grommet-type seal is designed to protect your connection solution by preventing the ingress of liquids into the waterproof connector along the cable. In such cases, the use of protective caps is mandatory. Although this is a standard process on environmentally sealed products, it is incompatible with designs in which contacts are put into place by the customer (crimp contacts). High-quality sealing compounds are used for factory sealing of the block. In this case, the inner contact block of the receptacle must also be sealed to prevent dust or water ingress into the equipment. However, in some cases the waterproof connector must remain sealed even without protective accessories. Normally an open connector should be protected against environmental influences when disconnected, by using an adequate protective cap. Most standard, sealed Fischer Connectors products come with a panel seal. The seal works in a static way in most applications, its exposure to the environment is very limited due to the recessed O-ring position. This sealing element joins the waterproof connector housing with the panel or equipment housing. This seal’s function is to ensure long-term product reliability, especially if the waterproof connector is frequently mated and unmated.īecause the interface seal works dynamically when mating, and can be exposed to the environment, you should select the quality of the seal according to operating temperature, environment and fluids. ![]() It prevents ingress of water or harmful particles into the connection area where male and female contacts mate.
